Derek is the most experienced licensed agent in the ACT having worked in the industry non-stop in the Nation’s capital since 1977. He began Leader Real Estate in 1980 and built it to be the number one agency in the ACT with multiple offices and over 100 staff in the 1990’s. In 2006 he established the residential business of Colliers International ACT from scratch quickly building it to be the leading Project Marketing agency in Canberra and surrounds until 2018. He has employed and trained many of the region’s top producing agents some of whom are running their own successful agencies today. He has continually been regarded as the ‘go to’ expert on all aspects of the real estate industry and is a popular commentator in the ever changing real estate landscape.

After more than ten solid and successful years in Real Estate in the ACT Rita has emerged as one of its top performing agents receiving numerous awards, accolades and recognition for her consistent results over the years. Regarded as an inner area property expert , Rita is frequently sought out by property developers and home sellers alike for her exceptional devotion to the task at hand and her significant market knowledge. She receives the highest percentage of referral business from both sellers and buyers which is what has underpinned her great success. Her tertiary education included a Master’s Degree in International Business studies and she is fluent in numerous other languages including Mandarin, Cantonese , Italian as well as English of course. Originally from Melbourne, Violette relocated to Canberra to further her career in Property Management. Because of her consistent community mindedness Violette has built solid relationships with locals and businesses in each community she has lived in and is now doing the same in Canberra. Violette has worked hard to become known as one of the best managers for her clients’ property assets. Her goal is to achieve the best possible outcome for owners and tenants through her 6 years of experience in the real estate industry. As she has worked in multiple real estate environments and roles she has broadened her skills to become a true professional mediator and asset manager.
Violette is a dedicated mother of two grown up boys and became expert at juggling home responsibilities and a fast paced work life. Also an experienced book keeper with her own business previously, she studied and became expert in administration and legislation affecting property.
Violette strives to go beyond the norm for her owners and tenants making sure that both get the support of a dedicated and caring professional . She is currently certified in real estate property management and is further qualified in Business Administration, Workplace Training and Assessor Cert 1V and Accounting.
