Derek is the most experienced licensed agent in the ACT having worked in the industry non-stop in the Nation’s capital since 1977. He began Leader Real Estate in 1980 and built it to be the number one agency in the ACT with multiple offices and over 100 staff in the 1990’s. In 2006 he established the residential business of Colliers International ACT from scratch quickly building it to be the leading Project Marketing agency in Canberra and surrounds until 2018. He has employed and trained many of the region’s top producing agents some of whom are running their own successful agencies today. He has continually been regarded as the ‘go to’ expert on all aspects of the real estate industry and is a popular commentator in the ever changing real estate landscape.
Derek has an impressive list of past clients including The ACT Government, Stockland, Lendlease, Mirvac, Molonglo Group, Doma Group, Geocon, Cbus Property, The Australian Liberal Party, Bloc, Morris Property Group, Hindmarsh, and many more. After more than ten solid and successful years in Real Estate in the ACT Rita has emerged as one of its top performing agents receiving numerous awards, accolades and recognition for her consistent results over the years. Regarded as an inner area property expert , Rita is frequently sought out by property developers and home sellers alike for her exceptional devotion to the task at hand and her significant market knowledge. She receives the highest percentage of referral business from both sellers and buyers which is what has underpinned her great success. Her tertiary education included a Master’s Degree in International Business studies and she is fluent in numerous other languages including Mandarin, Cantonese , Italian as well as English of course.
